114ce-SB Special Edition

This all-new Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar from the 100 Series offers players a bit of additional visual flavor on top of its versatile sound and accommodating feel. A solid Sitka spruce top generates plenty of volume and projection along with a clear, balanced tone that can adapt beautifully to different genres and playing styles. Its slightly narrower-than-standard fretboard, combined with the slender profile of the Taylor neck, makes fretting feel like a breeze even for newer players, and the Venetian cutaway provides easy access to the guitar’s upper register.

This special-edition model sports a matte-finished sunburst top, giving it a bit of neo-vintage flair that looks great under the stage lights, next to a campfire or even just at home on the couch.

214ce DLX LTD, Trans Blue or Trans Grey

Model Specs:
Top Wood: Solid Sitka Spruce
Back/Side Wood: Layered Big Leaf Maple
Neck: Hard Rock Maple
Fretboard: West African Crelicam Ebony
Nut Width: 1-11/16”

This pair of deluxe limited-edition Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitars bring classic, yet decidedly stylish vibes to our 200 Series. Choose between transparent blue and grey top finishes, which preserve the natural look of the spruce wood grain while adding eye-catching coloration. The layered maple backs and sides of these models are finished in glossy black, with  details such as crisp white binding, single-ring Italian acrylic rosettes, Small Diamond fretboard inlays and satin black tuning machines to round out the aesthetic appointment package.

Either way, you’re guaranteed rich, bold tone with a comfortable feel thanks to the slightly narrower fretboard and slender Taylor neck. Built-in ES2 electronics make it easy to plug in and play with clear, authentic acoustic tone whenever the opportunity arises.

224ce DLX LTD, Trans Red

Model Specs:
Top Wood: Solid Neo-Tropical Mahogany
Back/Side Wood: Layered Sapele
Neck: Hard Rock Maple
Fretboard: West African Crelicam Ebony
Nut Width: 1-11/16”
Scale Length: 25-½”
Electronics: ES2
Guitar Protection: Brown Deluxe Hardshell Case

This beautiful mahogany-topped Grand Auditorium caps this quartet of new acoustic-electric models. The hardwood soundboard yields a slightly more potent midrange response than a spruce top would, providing a bit more focus on the fundamental note as well as a subtle compression effect that smooths out the edges of an aggressive attack. This tone profile makes the 224ce DLX LTD an especially good choice for players interested in recording applications.

It’s all topped off with a gorgeous glossy transparent red finish for the back, sides and top, plus a satin red finish for the neck.
