A legendary luthier and a luxury goods store are coming together for an evening of exceptional craftsmanship and the best in quality guitars. On Thursday, April 1, at 5:00 p.m., Bob Taylor, the co-founder of Taylor Guitars and best known as one of the guitar world’s leading visionaries, along with Harrods, will host “An Evening of Guitars” in the Musical Instruments section of the famed department store.
At the Harrods event, Taylor, who perhaps has influenced the design and aesthetic of the modern acoustic guitar more than any other contemporary builder, will share his unique vision and stories. Joining Taylor will be Brian Swerdfeger, Taylor’s vice president of sales and marketing, who will lead a discussion about choosing the right guitar and how a guitar’s shape has a profound influence on tone. As an exclusive to Harrods, a variety of rare and custom Taylor guitars will be available to attendees for both demonstration and sale.
