ANAHEIM, Calif. – January 23, 2013 – With a lifetime of experience in guitar crafting, and such notable advancements in guitar design as the New Technology® neck and the Expression System® acoustic pickup, The Music & Sound Retailer magazine has awarded Bob Taylor with their Lifetime Achievement/Hall of Fame Award.
The award was presented earlier today by Dan Ferrisi, Editor of The Music & Sound Retailer, in the Taylor Guitars Room at the NAMM Show. “Bob Taylor embodies everything the award was created to honor: visionary creativity, good business practices, enviable corporate citizenship and an undiluted passion for music,” Ferrisi shared. “The entire team from The Music & Sound Retailer sincerely congratulates Bob, and Taylor Guitars, for this honor.”

The Music & Sound Awards, now in its 27th year, is the premier awards program in the music products industry. Annually, the “Best of” in several music product categories are recognized at the NAMM trade show, the industry’s largest domestic trade event.
