The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) has elected Taylor Guitars co-founder and CEO Kurt Listug to join the organization’s board of directors. The election was held at NAMM’s biannual trade show in mid-January, during its Annual Meeting of Members.

Mr. Listug joins a slate of new board members representing a vast array of companies, including Keyboard Concepts, QSC Audio Products, White House Music and Guitar Center, as well as C.F. Martin & Co. and Yamaha Corporation of America.

The appointment is a first for Mr. Listug, who along with other new board members will serve a three-year term ending in 2012.
