On Friday, July 13, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) recognized the Top 100 Dealers in the United States at its annual summer trade show in Nashville, Tennessee. The awards honored the top musical instrument and accessory merchants, with several special awards given to Taylor dealers of note.
Alto Music (Middletown, New York) took home the most prestigious title, “Dealer of the Year,” while The Music Zoo (Rosyln, New York) was recognized for “Best Website.” Santa Fe, New Mexico-based Candyman Strings & Things took home three awards: “Best Merchandise & Display,” “Best Rock School & Summer Rock Camps,” and NAMM’s “Wanna Play? Music Makes a Difference” honor. The Ted Brown Music Company, which has four locations throughout Washington state, earned “Best Curb Appeal,” and Music Villa in Bozeman, Montana picked up two awards: “Best Ad” and “Best Use of Social Media” for its external activities.
