As part of its new European distribution complex, and upon the news of its 12-year limited warranty, Taylor Guitars has opened a Factory Service Center to provide quality Acoustic and Electric guitar repairs and service for Taylor owners throughout Europe. Located inside the company’s headquarters in the Netherlands, the new Service Center features the same machinery, tools and repair services found at the company’s California factory, along with an experienced staff of Taylor-trained repair technicians.
“Customers can count on a quality Taylor repair at the Amsterdam Service Center, from proper humidity control through setup and even in the worst damage scenarios,” says Uwe Dierkes, Customer Service and Repair Manager. “Our team of knowledgeable repair techs and customer service representatives is ready to make the player’s service experience as pleasant and comprehensive as it would be at the Taylor factory in California.” Dierkes notes that both materials and components arrive in Amsterdam weekly from the company’s headquarters in California and that as the Service Center is equipped to serve almost all of Europe, players can rest assured that when faced with a customer service question or a need for service, the staff is able to communicate in a variety of languages, including Spanish, French, German, Dutch, and English.
The Service Center honors warranty repairs and services in conjunction with the free 12-year limited warranty offered to existing owners in Europe who register their Taylor guitar before December 31, 2011. The limited warranty is standard on all new purchases of Taylor guitars in the countries of Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.Other services that are available to customers include upgrades to the company’s Expression System® acoustic electronics, as well as four comprehensive guitar maintenance packages – Refresh, Revive, Renew, and Rejuvenate for optimized guitar health.
