Located in the heart of Paris and coordinated through the company’s distribution partnership with Fender Musical Instruments France, the newest Taylor service center features seasoned repair technicians with extensive hands-on experience and expert knowledge of Taylor guitars to give each tune-up, repair or modification that signature Taylor touch. The new location becomes the fifth service center operated by Taylor, joining locations in England, Sweden and Germany, as well as one domestically at the company’s headquarters in El Cajon, California.
David Hosler, Taylor’s Vice President of Customer Service and Repair, traveled to Paris to oversee the construction of the new center. As with all the Europe-based service centers, the new Paris location mirrors the machinery, tools and equipment found in the company’s U.S. factory, making each repair, modification and the overall service experience equal to those guitars that are sent to the U.S. center. “It’s truly a new experience for European players who love their Taylors to know that no matter which country they’re in, the Taylor expertise and high quality luthiery standards are never far away,.” Hosler shares.
As part of Taylor’s commitment to quality, the service centers honor all Taylor warranty services and can perform necessary repairs and modifications to keep an owner’s dream guitar in optimal playing condition.
Players looking to give their guitars “R&R” treatment in the U.S. can send their guitars to the Taylor Factory Service Center located at Taylor’s manufacturing headquarters in El Cajon, California. Open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m,.,The the El Cajon Factory Service Center accepts guitars of all makes and models, including all other acoustic and electric guitar manufacturers, for service. Players who visit the service center will be greeted in a storefront that stocks a variety of popular Taylor parts, including the solderless, “plug and play” pickups for the SolidBody Classic electric guitar, as well as accessories and apparel from TaylorWare, the company’s line of Taylor-branded items.
