The Academy of Country Music’s Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country aired on CBS on April 22, honoring the superstars of the female country set, including Carrie Underwood, Loretta Lynn, Wynonna and Naomi Judd, Sara Evans and many more. Among the night’s performers were the JaneDear Girls, a rising duo who covered the 1952 Kitty Wells classic, “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels.” Danelle Leverett played her 714ce, while Susie Brown plucked the upright bass.
