Following the success of its spring tour and back by player demand, the Taylor Guitars Road Show will be returning to dealers across Europe this fall. With select dates in France, Germany, Great Britain, Norway, Switzerland and Spain, the Road Shows offer Taylor fans an opportunity to experience the complete line of Taylor guitars, interact with Taylor staff, and take part in the lively, in-store gathering of musically-minded individuals.
At each Road Show, the Taylor staff shares insights on the company’s guitar-making process and demonstrates how body shapes and woods affect tone. After the demonstration, players are invited to take part in the “Petting Zoo”: an opportunity to play a variety of different models, as well as rare and custom Build to Order guitars. Admission to each Road Show is free, and attendees can invite others to join them by visiting the Taylor Guitars Road Show page located at www.taylorguitars.com/roadshow.
In 2010, Taylor presented over 190 in-store Road Show events in the United States and Canada, and held another 40 events throughout Europe and Asia. The Taylor Guitars Road Show was awarded the 2008 Supplier Excellence Award from Music Inc. magazine in the category of Events for putting “the excitement of the company’s factory tours into retail dealers across the country.”
