Between the Gold Label Collection’s debut in January, the addition of the Grand Pacific this summer and now a third wave of new models, 2025 is shaping up to be the year of Gold Label guitars. The collection represents a journey into new territory for Taylor, delivering a warm, open, powerful sound driven by three primary elements:
- New body shape designs: The all-new Super Auditorium shape, inspired by our iconic Grand Auditorium body, features slightly larger dimensions and no cutaway, and yields impressive depth and throwback warmth. A variant of our Grand Pacific round-shoulder dreadnought with a slightly greater body depth generates exceptional power with an old-school musical personality.
- Fanned V-Class Bracing: This evolution of our game-changing voicing framework improves volume and sustain while adding greater warmth, power and midrange presence.
- The Action Control Neck: The latest development in the long line of comfort-focused design innovations from Taylor, the Action Control Neck allows for quick adjustments to string height so you can dial in your feel with ease. The long-tenon joint also helps improve tonal transfer throughout the instrument, resulting in greater resonance and warmth.
The latest batch of new Gold Label guitars includes the Gold Label 514e, the Gold Label 714e and the Gold Label 817e, diversifying the collection with new body shape and tonewood combinations. The Super Auditorium will now be available in the 500 and 700 Series, while the deeper, Gold Label-exclusive version of the Grand Pacific shape joins the 800 Series for the first time.
Gold Label 514e
Sporting the classic combination of mahogany and spruce, this Super Auditorium acoustic-electric adds a new sonic dimension to that wood pairing’s midrange focus and woody voice. Players will notice greater warmth and power with an open, dynamic character and a touch of additional warmth and sweetness thanks to our torrefaction process for the Sitka spruce top. This model is available in natural, blacktop and sunburst top finishes, with your choice of firestripe or cream-colored pickguards for the sunburst variant. Other visual details include cream-colored binding, rosette, and Crest fretboard inlays, along with a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge with matching bridge pins, nickel tuning machines, and a full-body gloss finish.

The Gold Label 714e serves up an enticing blend of top-end articulation, low-end presence and lush, blooming overtones, with the torrefied spruce top adding a bit of aged character to the mix.
